The Pitman's Story
It is with great sadness that we inform you the our Chairman, Kevin Parnham, has passed away. Kevin had not been well for awhile but still continued to to carry our his duties as Chair, run the Singles Sunday Lunch Group and enjoy his breakfasts with the Grumpies. He will be sorely missed and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this sad time. Rest in Peace Kevin.
Sutton in Ashfield u3a is part of a national movement of people who are in their third age of their lives -If you are retired or semi retired then u3a is ideal for you. Our aim is to be a group that enthuses members, promotes friendship and fun, social and learning interests and encourages others to join, enabling them to feel that they are part of an organisation to be proud of.
You don't need any qualifications just a wish to meet like minded people who enjoy being able to to socialise, be creative, active or want to improve their minds. We come together to enjoy our interests in a friendly and informal environment. No qualifications required and it is all in your own time.
